Welcome to the SCSU ResNet support site.  This website is geared to the students that live in on-campus housing that use the SCSU student network for internet access.  Here at SouthernCT we try our hardest to make the student online experience as secure as possible.  Our on campus policies are in place to ensure the student adhere's to safe computing guidelines.  Our residential network (ResNet) is free of charge to all students living in the dorms. 

To aide in securing the network as well as the computers connected to it, the Office of Information Technology has implemented the Cisco Clean Access (CCA) system to ensure that our campus network, as well as the student machines, stay free of infection and secure for data.  Every machine plugged into the ResNet network will be forced to download the agent which will perform a system of checks on the computer.  As long as each check is passed successfully, the machine will be allowed to access the internet.  These rules are in place to ensure that each student has an up to date and legitimate version Windows, as well as an Antivirus software package which is up-to-date and running.
